Fishing Lakes

Swanborough Fishing Lakes comprises of three well stocked lakes for you to fish on with a choice of Tench, Carp and Chubb

Tench Lake
A two acre lake with 15 swims holding Tench,
Bream, Perch, Roach and Rudd.

Carp Lake
A three and a half acre lake with 18 swims holding Mirror Carp, Common Carp and Ghost Carp

Decoy Lake
A one and a half acre lake with 12 swims holding Chubb, Perch, Roach and Rudd.

The lakes are located just south of Lewes, East Sussex on the C7 in between the villages of Kingston and Iford.

LAKE RULES

• Micro barbs & barbless hooks only to be used
• Landing Nets must be used
• No keepnets
• No fixed bolt rigs
• 10lb line minimum
• 2x 1/4 test curve rods minimum
• A 36" or bigger landing mat must be used as well as a large unhooking mat for fish larger than 10lb
• Use forceps only, and treat with carp clinic (antibiotics) or similar
• Strictly no pulses (peas, beans etc) or peanuts to be used
• 2lb limit on ground bait
• All litter to be disposed of in the bins provided
• No dogs
• No open fires, radios/loud music
• A valid Environment Agency fishing licences must be provided for all rods in use



• Night & 24 Hour Fishing by appointment only -Night Fishermen must be 17yrs or older, unless accompanied by an adult.
